Martiria is an epic/doom metal
rock band formed back in the '80s and re-founded (after
a long pause) in 2002. Seven album published (last one R-Evolution, with ex Black Sabbath Vinny Appice - 2014).
The band was formed back in the '80s. At the beginning the
band was very much oriented towards Doom/Metal sounds such
as: early Candlemass and Black Sabbath. After releasing
just a few demos and featuring various musicians, in 1998
the members of the group decide to take a break for a while

Martiria, the legendary Italian epic metal band, has announced the upcoming release of "Timeless", a compilation of their greatest hits spanning their entire discography. Set to release on February 17th via ScreamLoud Records, the album features a cover of the iconic Black Sabbath song, "Spiral Architect". All tracks have been re-mixed and remastered at the Digitall Studio, with some parts being sung and played by the band.
The album boasts over an hour of Martiria's incredible sound, characterized by epic atmospheres and powerful rhythms. Fans of the band will now be able to stream their music on all digital platforms. The line-up includes Rick Anderson, aka Damien King III from the legendary Warlord, along with special guest, the monster of drums Vinny Appice (Black Sabbath and Dio), who appears on a few tracks.
"Timeless" was produced by Andy Menario, and all lyrics were written by Marco Capelli. The re-mixing and re-mastering of the tracks were done at Digitall Studio.
