If
you like Warlord, or early Black Sabbath,
or Manowar and Candlemass,
then you will love Martiria's music!
Founded in 1987 in Italy,
they were able to get no less than Rick Anderson (Damien
King III, ex WARLORD) for their musical visions. It is
exactly this conjuring voice and the adding of all manners
of classical instruments/choirs constitute a lot of MARTIRIAs
appeal. Epic arrangements and progressive song structures
and many acoustic passages are able to captivate you throughout
the playing time. If this gem would have been released
in the eighties, you would bow down with awe and praise
this as a timeless classic.

with Black Sabbath, Dio,

We just want to say to Vinny: "Thank
you!" for playing with us.
We're sure that his presence will give
to our next work the power and the strength

Line
up change
After
the release of our last CD, ROMA
S.P.Q.R., and several live
shows that brought us great
reviews and great satisfaction, Martiria
will now change targets and strategy,
heading straight towards international
music scene.
Hence the choice to
find a singer with different characteristics.
Andy, Derek and Marco,
deeply thank Freddy,
great friend and excellent and very
professional singer for the contribution
given to the band during this year 2012
and wish him great success for his future
activities.
Also, they want to say
"thank you" to Umberto
Spiniello, superlative drummer
that, due to his work commitments, couldn't
follow the band in last months activities.
A new press release
will follow soon with further details
about the new line-up.
